Something Goes Wrong in Space, part III & NaNoWriMo Stuff

Okay so obviously I stopped being able to write the horror drabbles. This has mostly to do with me not being able to write on cue, I think. Anyways. EXCITING THINGS!

1. Drakekin is doing NaNoWriMo this year.

You might remember Drakekin as being the person with whom I developed the Something Goes Wrong in Space outline for. What is even more exciting than this thing being novelized is the fact that it will be up on the interwebs so that we can read it there! AND that there actually is a terrifying explanation behind That-Which-Speaks. Drakekin will post the things here, and it will be awesome. AND, I just renoticed, its working title is even more ominous than “Something Goes Wrong in Space”, y’all.

2. I am doing NaNoWriMo this year.

I won’t post my entire story here but the first chapter will make an appearance. It is the story of a lone person’s attempt to grow and keep wings. She has to maintain a very steady diet, exercise every day, avoid being caught by the various social groups that want to devour her for her wings, and make sure she polishes the dirty feathers a lot. I hope you might like it.

3. Other things.

Here is a short story detailing a thing that will happen to you. Written by Rob.

I wrote a set of parlour game rules. I have no idea if it would work as a game or not. If you try it, feel free to tell me if it was awesome or catastrophic.

I have become a bit obsessed with space opera as a genre. Enjoying the works of Iain M Banks at the moment. I have a lot of thoughts about The Player of Games, and I might essayify them later. Reviewify maybe. Depends on my ratio of philosophicalness:pretensions:verbosity, I guess.

Lastly, someone told me they might be writing one of the Plots You Can Have plots and that means I might be able to link that here and that will be fantastic. Over and out.
